Spiers Mary Howard [Female] b. 19 AUG 1872 Prince George, Virginia, USA - d. 23 NOV 1971 Lynchburg, Virginia

Grandma's sister Aunt Mary Russell was a very special person. She could write stories she could write poetry, and her daughter could also. One of the children Edna could draw. All artistic people. Aunt Mary saw things, some of us do. You can't say anything about it as people think you are missing in the upper story. Anyway Aunt Mary Russell has written me a few stories about floating along after sleep. Very interesting, but not mentioned so if your children are that inclined they come about it naturally. I used to tell my Mother I did not do it it was my twin sister, and she would answer One of these days I am going to catch that sister and she would not continue. She used to tell me Where did you come from you are not like a single one of us. My father used to tell me Why are you so ugly, why are you not beautiful like your Mother. She was, so beautiful people would stop just to look at her. My Nancy is beautiful I prayed for her to be and she is.
