worked a gold mine. Moved to Forest Grove, OR after Mae's death to live near
Ruthie Konkle. After death of second wife he moved to Deadwood, OR to live
near Harold Konkle. Worked in the shipyards during WWII.
Last known address: Forest Grove, OR, 97116.
Note: DIed at her daughter's home.
Note: Died young, before 1890.

Bought from his father the old homestead in 1872.
Note: Wayne Laverty didn't know that Jay was has brother until he was older. Wayne
thought that Jay was his uncle because Jay lived in town with James H.
Laverty and Emily Jane Lewis Laverty.
