Note: In the 1880 census Sylvester was listed as a 24 yr old farmer living in beat 2 with wife Frances age 21, married in the census year.
In the 1910 census Sylvester was listed as a 55 yr old farmer, owning his own farm, living in beat 5 on the Carriere to Ceasar road with wife Frances, age 56, married 30 yrs, having 2 children. Staying with them at the time were his son William R. age 21, a watchman at a lumbermill, and William's wife of 1 yr, Bessie Herrington age 15.
In the 1920 census Sylvester was listed as a 64 yr old farmer living in beat 5 on the Carriere to West Union raod with wife Frances age 59 and his granddaughter, Mary F. Jarrell age 16.
Note: In the 1900 PRC census James was listed as a 34 yr old farmer living in beat 5 with his wife, Alice Livings age 27, married 13 yrs, having 4 children. Also staying with them were two boarders Albert Burge age 28 and Nathaniel Barker age 24.
In the 1910 census James was listed as a 46 yr old farmer, owning his own farm, having his post office in McNeill, living with wife Alice age 35, married 21 yrs, having 8 children with 7 living. Five children were at home including Otis age 14 listed as working on the farm. He was neighbors with Joel, Leonard and Wilmer Spiers.
In the 1920 census James was listed as a 56 yr old farmerliving in beat 5 on the McNeill to Cesar road with wife Alice age 48 and 4 children.
Jimmy Gill's tombstone indicates that he was born in 1860 although all other records indicate he was born abt. 1866.
Note: In the 1920 PRC census Otis is listed as a 23 yr old farmer living near his father James Gill in beat 5 on the McNeill to Cesar road with wife Ada age 20 and their 2 sons, Artis N. age 4 and James age 1yr 4 mo.
Note: In the 1910 PRC census, Wilmer was listed as a 23 yr old farmer, owning his own farm, having his post office in McNeill, living with his wife, Christina Gill age 18 married 1 yr having no children. Wilmer lived near his uncles Joel and Leonard Spiers.
In the 1920 census Wilmer was listed as a 32 yr old farmer living in beat 5 on the McNeill to Cesar road with his wife Christina Gill age 27 and their 4 children; Rose age 9, Arnold age 6, Alice age 5 and Talmage age 2.

In the 1910 census Jaohn was listed as a 43 yr old log sawyer living in beat 4 with wife Nancy age 39, married 19 yrs, having 7 children with 6 living. Living with them at the time was daughter Fannie Mae age 18 yr old widow with one Child, 2 yr old Elisha Spiers. Also living with them at the time were their 4 other children, including Thomas J. age 15 working in a saw mill.
In the 1920 PRC census John was listed as a 53 yr old farmer living in beat 5 with wife Nancy age 44 and their 6 children including Thomas age 23 a railroad hand and Edgar age 18 a sawmill worker.
Note: In the 1900 PRC census William Wylie was listed aas a 29 yr old farmer living in beat 4 with his wife Gertha Brady, age 17, married 2 yrs, with 1 child, suzy age 7 mo.
In the 1910 census Buck was listed as a 40 yr old farmer owning his own farm, living in beat 4 with wife Gertha age 25, married 11 yrs, having 6 children with 5 living.
In the 1920 census Buck was listed as a 49 yr old farmer living in beat 4 with wife Gertha, age 36 and their 7 children.
Note: In the 1900 census Henry was listed as a 28 yr old farmer living in beat 4 with wife Nora Brady age 18 married 1 yr with no children. Living with them at the time was a boarder named William Bell, age 27.
