Clack, Raleigh Robert (b. 4 JUN 1772, d. 16 DEC 1842)

Note: After his marriage to Mary Randles in 1791, they moved to Wayne County, Kentucky. While in Kentucky, from 1792 to 1794, he served as a volunteer private in McGaughey's Company, Knox City Regiment, Hamilton District Military, south of the Ohio River.

Rawleigh was a Private in the War of 1812. He served in the Army under General Andrew Jackson in his famous campaign against the Indians, and was in the memorable battle of Tohopeka or Horse Shoe Bend, in 1814, which was a crushing defeat for the "Creeks".

This family moved back to eastern Tennessee. They owned a large farm in Sevier County, Tennessee, located in the fork of the French Broad and Pigeon rivers. Rawleigh later bought a tract of land in Rhea County, near Yellow Creek, where he spent the remainder of his life.

Lindsey, Eugene Doyle (b. 23 DEC 1928)
Note: Gene and Evelyn were introduced by a relative while he was stationed in Enid, Oklahoma. They were married at her sister's home in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

He retired from the United States Air Force at age 37, retired from civil service at age 52 and then built homes for a few years. He was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in the early 1990's.

Rogers, Henry (b. 1741, d. 1804)
Note: Henry was a Revolutionary soldier. He lived in Fauquier County, Virginia and Chatham County, North Carolina, before going to what was become Sevier County, Tennessee. That was about 1789 and he lived only 5 years in the new country. Henry and Elizabeth Langford were among the earliest pioneers settling in Sevier County.
