RAGLEY -- Funeral services for Hatton William Kelley, 88, will be at
1 p.m. today, Jan. 9, in Magnolia Baptist Church.
The Revs. Wiley LaFleur and Larry LaFleur will officiate. Burial with Masonic Rites will be in Magnolia Cemetery under direction of Hixson Funeral Home.
Mr. Kelley died at 12:40 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 7, 1999, in a local hospital.
A native of Reeves, he lived in Westlake. He was a member of Magnolia Baptist Church, a 32 degree Mason and a member of Magnolia Lodge 238. He was an Army veteran of World War II, serving in the 1st Army, 9th division, 156th infantry, and participating in the Normandy invasion. He was wounded in the European Theater and received the Purple Heart.
Survivors include his wife, Eddie Reeves Kelley; three daughters, Brenda Kelley of Jarreau, Patsy Parker of Moss Bluff and Peggy Kelley of DeQuincy; one brother, Clyde Kelley of Strafford, N.J.; and two sisters, Bertie Rich of Sulphur and Dorothy Dailey of Jackson, Ms.[SWLA.FTW]
