Note: Percy was at his Aunt's Idell Meek Williams Johnson where he was required to take water to those working in the field's. Aunt Idell and Uncle Joe had an old mule named Bill (who like to kick). Percy got behind Bill and was kicked in the head and received a cut to the forehead. Upon returning to the house he asked Aunt Idell "I don't have to carry water no more do I". As told to James Henry Gilmer by Percy's first cousins Susie Johnson Smith and Bradley Johnson.
