Note: John enlisted as a private in the Confederate Army Company, 38th Mississippi Volunteers, 11/12/1863, in Enterprise, Ms. He enlisted with his brother in law John Pocket Spiers and his uncle Rodney Clark Jarrell.

In the 1900 census John was listed as a55 yr old farmer living in beat 5, Alliance Hall District, with wife Elizabeth age 50, married 32 yrs, having 12 children with 11 living. Four children were living at home.

Note: In the 1910 Pearl River County, Census Charlie was listed as a 64 yr old farmer, owning his farm, living in beat 5 with wife Amanda age 65, married 40 yrs, having 8 children with 5 living. Living with them at the time was their son Oscar age 20, a farmer.

Note: In the 1900 census Dennis was listed as a 51 yr old farmer living in beat 5, Alliance Hall district with wife Virginia age 43, married 28 yrs with 9 children. 7 children were living at home at the time, including 23 yr old son James listed as a salesman.

In the 1920 census Dennis is listed as a 71 yr old general merchant living in beat 4 with wife Virginia age 63. They had 2 boarders at the time, one was Walter Davis age 35.

Note: In the Hancock census of 1880 George was listed as a 26 yr old farmer living in beat 2 with wife Elizabeth age 24 and their11 mo old daughter, Laura.

In the 1900 census George is listed as a 47 yr old farmer living in beat 5, Choctaw district, with wife Nancy age 44, married 23 yrs, having 11 children with 7 living, and 6 were living at home. They also had 2 boarders, Joseph W. Fornea and George's nephew, Asa Jarrell age 20, a slab burner.

In the 1920 census George was listed as a 77 yr old store salesman living in beat 4 with second wife Annie Stockstill, age 50.
