Note: In the 1900 census, Mariah was listed as a 59 yr old widow farmer living in beat 5, having had 14 children with 13 living. Living with her at the time were 4 of her children, Annie, Joel, Leonard, and Rosa Lee, age 7. Rosa Lee must have been adopted. Mariah died in 1901 and Rosa Lee was shown in the 1910 census as living with Mariah's son Jim Spiers and Family.

Note: In the 1880 hancock county census John was listed as a 29 yr old farmer living in beat 2 with wife Sarah Ann Martin, age 35 and 3 children.

In the 1900 census John was listed as a49 yr old farmer living in beat 5 with wife Sarah, age 56, married 29 yrs. Stayiing with them at the time was their 22 yr old daughter Missouri.

In the 1910 census John was listed as a 59 yr old farmer, owning his own farm, living in McNeill settlement with his second wife, Mary Alexander, age 33.

In the 1920 census John was listed as a68 yr old farmer living in beat 5 with his wife Mary Jane Allexander, age 42 and their 3 children, John Jr. age 5 James D. age 3 and Lessie Mae age 1.

In the 1900 census James was listed as a46 yr old farmer living in beat 3 with wife Josephine age 42, married 23 yrs, having 3 children, only 2 were living. Willi age 17 and Jeppy age 15. Living with them at the time waswere Josephine's father William Davis age 69.

In the 1910 census James was listed as a 56 yr old farmer owning his own farm, living in beat 5 with wife Josephine age 53, married 33 yrs, having had 3 children. Living at home was Willie age 26 and Jeppy age 25 and Jeppy's wife of 3 yrs, Alice Alexander, age 19 and their daughter Zethel, age 8 months. Also living with them were Josephine's father William Davis, age 79, niece Rosa Lee Spiers, age 16 and a boarder Seth P. Perry age 21 from La.

In the 1920 census Jim was listed as a 67 yr old farmer living in beat 5 on the ceasar to McNeill road with his wife, Josephine age 56. Living with them at the time was Jeppy age 35, who helped on the farm, and his wife Ollie Alexander, age 29 and their 4 children.

Note: In the 1900 Hancock County census Cornelius was listed as a 44 yr farmer living with wife Sarah Lumpkin age 44, married 21 yrs, having 8 children, all living at home. Also staying with them at the time was a boarder, John Craft age 17, and Sarah's father, William Lumpkin, age 79.

In the 1920 census Buck was listed as a 61 yr old farmer living in beat 5 with his wife Nancy age 53 and children, Margania age 32, pinewood cutter, Ester age 20, Matthew age 16, pinewood cutter, Hilton age 14, Melvin age 12 and Mary age 10. Also staying with them at the time was Docia May Dunn Spiers, age 20, William's daughter in law married to Edgar Spiers.

Note: In the 1900 census Branson is listed as a 39 yr old farmer living in beat 5 with wife Nancy Addison, age 43, married 12 years, having 3 children with 2 living. He was living near his Mother Mariah, his sister Maranda and brother Buck.

In the 1900 PRC census Joseph was listed as a 28 yr old single merchant living in beat 5. Staying with him at the time was Edgar Shanks age 23, a school teacher.

In the 1910 census Joseph was listed as a 38 yr old postmaster at the McNeill settlement, living with wife Mary Seabrook age 33, married 6 years, having 3 children; Paul age 5, Bobbie age 4 and Walter age 2. Also Staying with them at the time was Mary's Mother, Nettie Seabrook, age 62.

In the 1920 census Joseph was listed as a 47 yr old postmaster and merchant living in beat 5 with wife Mary, age 42 and 5 children including Paul age 16, a telegraph operator.

Note: In the 1920 census Willie was lilsted as a 36 yr old farmer living in beat 5 near his father with wife Ethel, age 21 and their 2 children.

Note: In the 1910 census Sarah was listed as a 53 yr old widow farmer, owning her own farm, living in beat 5 on the Ceasar to Carriere road, having 8 children. Six were living at home including Thomas age 30, working on the railroad.
