O.I. CAGLE
O.I. (Ollie) Cagle, 68, of 2908 Hardy St., died at 11:45 p.m. Sunday (July 21) at Methodist Hospital.
Mr. Cagle had lived in Hattiesburg since 1917. He was yardmaster for the Mississippi Central Railroad. He retired in 1955 after 45 years with the railroad. He was a member of the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen and a 32nd degree Mason. Mr. Cagle was a native of Sumrall.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Hulett Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. P.O. Nix, Dr. W.A. Tyson and Dr. W. Parks McKittrick officiating. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery with Masonic rites.
Mr. Cagle is survived by his wife; one daughter, Mrs. Olen Black; two grandchildren, Marie and Wayne Black, all of Hattiesburg; four sisters, Mrs. S.E.L. Weatherford, city; Mrs. Zell Broome, Mrs. John Aultman, both of Sumrall; and Mrs. A.E. Rushing, Columbia.

Services are scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Friday at Moore Funeral Home for Rowena Owings Cagle, 89, of Hattiesburg, who died Feb. 15, 1989 at Forrest General Hospital.
Dr. Randall Von Kanel and Dr. Tommy Messer will officiate. Interment will be in Highland cemetery.
Mrs. Cagle was a native of Bigbee and a teacher for many years in the Hattiesburg Public Schools. She was the first principal of Grace Christian Elementary School, from 1958-66. She received her master's degree in education from the University of Southern Mississippi. She was a charter member of the 20th Star Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, a member of Delta Kappa Gamma sorority and a former member of the American Association of University Women. She was a member of First Baptist Church.
Survivors include one brother, A.D. Owings of Terry.
Memorials may be made to the Fannie Owings Scholarship Fund at USM.
Visitation will be from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. today at the funeral home

James L. Cagle, long time resident of West Point, died at the Ivy Memorial Hospital this morning following an illness of several weeks.
Mr Cagle, who was 56, was a Methodist and affiliated with the Tennessee Valley Authority.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Calvert Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Glenn Miller and Rev. James Richardson officiating. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery.
He leaves his wife, the former Lelah Staggs; a son, James F. Cagle, four sisters, Mrs. Lela Weatherford of Hattiesburg; Mrs. Alma Broome of Sumrall; Mrs Emma Aultman of Sumrall; and Mrs. Amanda Rushing of Foxworth; a brother, O.I. Cagle of Hattiesburg and a granddaughter, Ruth Ann Cagle. (Note: Obit had several names wrong, they were correc ted.)

Services were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Hulett-Winstead Funeral Home chapel in Sumrall for Mrs. Emma Aultman, 73, of Sumrall, who died Sunday evening at Forrest General Hospital.
Dr. Eddie Hamilton and Rev. Gerald Aultman officiated, with burial following in Magnolia Memorial Gardens.
Survivors are a step-son, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were David W. Aultman, Donald R. Auiltman, Wilmer F. Hatten Jr., Loui Courtney, Sidney Weatherford III and James Broome.
