Both Peter and Elenor are buried at "a grave site on this creek one mile or more from the old Salem Church and School" - note written by Louisa Jane Smith Megehee. [Peter & Elenor had 10 children, but only four, Andrew, Kennon, Elisa and Lott came with them to Mississippi - It is presumed the others had married and chose to remain in Bladen County, North Carolina.
