Family mentioned: Jane Wheat, widow rosiding in Washington Parish, Louisiana; Thomas Wheat, left no children - names & places of residence of heirs at law as far as he could determine: John Wheat, Copiah County, Miss.; Thomas Weldy, Perry County; Thomas Rainey, Jones County; John Rainey, Henry A. Kenedy, William Weldy, Milly Strahan (wife of Lemuel Straham) of Marion County; Matilda Simmons (wife of William Simmons), Perry County; Mary Morgan, George W. Weldy, Milly Wallis (wife of William Wallis), Sarah Wallis, Rebecca Wallis, Warren M. Wallis, & Maryan Wallis, residing in Hancock County; Benjamin Frazier & Sarah his wife in the state of Texas; Elizabeth Wallis & (name apparently omitted in original) Martha Wallis his wife, Mary Ann Wallis, Jourdan Morgan Wallis, & Rebecca Wallis in the state of Louisiana.

All above persons are above age of 21 except Sarah Wallis, Rebecca Wallis, Warren M. Wallis, Morgan Wallis, & Rachel Wallis, who are minor children of the said William M. Wallis and have no general guardian.
