WILLIAM FRANKLIN KEELING, b. 2-25-1865, Geneva, Shelby co., IN; d. 3-7-1919, as a result of a railroad accident in Oil City, Venango co., PA; m. 1895, Yankton, Yankton co., SD, LIZZIE BOWMAN (b. 12-20-1880, Pierre, Hughes co., SD, to WALTER OWEN BOWMAN and MARY JANE ....; d. 1-6-1936, South Sioux City, Dakota co., NE; bur. Graceland Park Cemetery, Sioux City, Sioux co., IA). William was a railroader, and also worked in his father's store. He had great musical ability, for after hearing a piece played, he could repeat it on the organ or piano without referring to the written music.
