* In Deed Book 47, Page 252, Wythe County, VA is recorded a deed dated 12 April 1901 by which John P. Robinson and his wife Sadie conveyed to Mamie Robinson (Mary Lucy Robinson) et al. (John's brothers and sisters) his 1/8 interest in 1 acre of land plus building thereon in Max Meadows, VA known as the E.H. Robinson (Eldred Herbert Robinson) property for $325. John P. and Sadie Robinson signed the deed in Baltimore, MD.

** Margaret Elizabeth Crockett Drumheller, neice of John Paxton Robinson, has a letter written by Herbert Wallace Robinson on September 2, 1899 from 219 N. Gilmore Street, Baltimore MD, to his grandfather Eldred Herbert Robinson, Jr. which was about three months before Mr. Robinson's death. Mrs. Drumheller was told by her mother (Margaret Sarah Robinson Crockett) that this boy was her (the mother's) brother John Paxton Robinson's son.
